Introducing KairosEye v1.0: Calendar & Weather on Your Wrist
The first version of KairosEye is now available on the Garmin Connect IQ Store — a watchface that puts your calendar and weather directly on your wrist.
Why KairosEye?
Most Garmin watchfaces give you the time, maybe your step count, and not much else. If you want to know what's next on your schedule, you pull out your phone. If you want to check the weather, same thing. KairosEye was built around a simple idea: the information you check most often should live on your wrist, not in your pocket. No app to open. No menu to navigate. Just raise your wrist, and there it is — your next meeting, today's forecast, and everything you need to plan the next few hours.
What's Included in v1.0
Version 1.0 focuses on the essentials:
- Daily and weekly calendar views — see your upcoming events at a glance, organized by day
- Event notifications — never miss an appointment, even during a run or a workout
- Weather data — current temperature and conditions, always visible
- Clean, minimal interface — designed for small screens and quick reads, with no unnecessary clutter The goal was to get the core experience right before adding complexity. Every element on the screen earns its space.
How It Works
KairosEye syncs your calendar events through iCal-compatible URLs. Paste your calendar link into the companion app, and events appear on your watch automatically. Weather data is fetched based on your location — no manual configuration needed. The watchface is optimized for readability: high contrast, clear typography, and a layout that prioritizes the information you need most.
What's Next
This is just the starting point. We're actively working on improvements based on early user feedback — timezone support, more display options, expanded weather data, and support for additional Garmin models. If there's something you'd like to see, now is the best time to tell us. The roadmap is still open, and your input directly shapes what comes next.
